Last year, to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Fifty Fathoms series, Blancpain launched three limited edition watches, including the Fifty Fathoms 70th Anniversary Limited Edition 5010B equipped with a 42 mm stainless steel case. This is the first time that a modern Fifty Fathoms watch has adopted this size. Previously, the size of the traditional Fifty Fathoms series was 45 mm, while the limited edition Fifty Fathoms watch was 40 mm. Now, the brand has launched a new 42mm Fifty Fathoms watch, available in grade 23 titanium and 18K red gold, with up to 14 different models to choose from.
This new replica watch has a diameter of 42.3 mm and a thickness of 14.2 mm. Compared with the traditional Fifty Fathoms watch (45 mm * 15.5 mm), the size has been reduced. The case of this replica watch can be made of 23-grade titanium or 18K red gold. It is brushed and equipped with an anti-glare sapphire crystal mirror and a screw-down crown with a protective device. It is worth mentioning that the 18K red gold oscillating weight has been treated with NAC platinum alloy coating. Its design is inspired by the antique watch oscillating weight of the 1950s, showing a unique retro style.
