As the new year approaches, IWC and Italian illustrator Filippo Morini launch an artistic short animated film celebrating the Year of the Dragon. In the short film, the jade rabbit waving firecrackers and the golden dragon soaring into the sky and swimming in the abyss complement each other, indicating that the upcoming Year of the Dragon is full of auspiciousness and good luck. Mr. Kurt Klaus, the master of watchmaking, personally led the dragon lantern dance on stage amidst the dazzling fireworks, bringing happiness and laughter to the Year of the Dragon.

Red is the perfect choice for the main color of the Spring Festival. Red, with its profound cultural imagery and connotation, has subtly penetrated into the details of life, becoming a unique color that symbolizes good blessings. In this new spring season, IWC presents five red watches, integrating “red”, a color rich in cultural and aesthetic power, into watch engineering to record beautiful moments.

Strength and faith are symbols of the dragon and the extension of the engineer’s spirit. In order to pay tribute to the Lunar Year of the Dragon, IWC has launched a special edition of the Portuguese series chronograph watch for the Year of the Dragon (model: IW371629). This special edition watch cleverly combines the golden dragon, a symbol of Chinese national culture, with timepiece engineering, presenting a dynamic, vigorous and powerful design of a dragon-shaped oscillating weight. Equipped with IWC’s self-made 69355 movement, the stainless steel case is equipped with eye-catching gold-plated hands and hour markers. The IWC Portuguese series chronograph watch (model: IW371616) also uses a burgundy red dial. The dial design continues the simple style as always, with a symmetrical layout of the upper and lower small dials. The balanced and open design highlights the beauty of harmony advocated by traditional culture and complements the happy atmosphere of festive reunions.

The Portofino Automatic Watch 37 (Model: IW458109) has a stainless steel case and silver-plated dial paired with a Santoni red alligator leather strap. The bezel and dial are set with 66 and 12 dazzling diamonds respectively, making them sparkling.
